On Site
On Site is a project aimed at bringing together the international realities of the city of Rome and the local Roman artistic and cultural scene.
An intermediary, a bridge into a deeper understanding of Rome as a city, On Site offers an opportunity to explore lesser known sites, and get in touch with places, people and projects that represent the modern and complex reality of the city of Rome.
With On Site one can get in touch with Rome of the locals. On Site builds a community by exploring what often stays at the margin, in the spaces in-between and presents an alternative map of the city of Rome.

we do it
On Site offers activities that can help artists, scholars, students, creatives, and travellers create meaningful connections with the local artistic and cultural life.
Informed by an interdisciplinary and intersectional approach, On Site is interested in exploring multicultural and complex context of the city of Rome, through the unique experiences and activities, with a particular attention towards contemporary art, and such topics as:
• diversity & inclusion
• critical rethinking of problematic past
• gender equality and public space
• politics of representation, power and visibility.
